Baldino completed a correspondence course to learn locksmith skills, with the objective of establishing his lifelong dream of owning and operating a locksmith business of his own. Working his locksmith company from 8 to 4 while continuing to work as an airline mechanic for United Airlines during the 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. shift. His wife, Doris, and sons Mark and Gary walked from elementary school to the shop and covered from 3 to closing. Working first out of a 10×10 shed in the back of his home and then moving to a larger location was established in Springfield, VA. After graduating from college, both sons, Mark and Gary, returned to the locksmith company as partners and full-time employees. And when Albert Baldino passed away in March, 1991, he left the locksmith service with them. They continued the fine tradition and grew the business to its present day prominence.
