Privacy policy

1. Who we are

Locksmiths Finder is a directory of locksmith businesses in the United States, operated by WeDevAll. WeDevAll is responsible for the information described in this policy. We are not a locksmith and do not perform locksmith services.

2. Visitors

You can search and browse the directory without an account and without giving us your name, email address or phone number.

If you choose Use my location, your browser asks for your permission first. Then your coordinates are compared, on our server, to our own list of cities — no third party is called. Your coordinates are not stored.

Our hosting provider records standard technical information for each request, such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, to run and protect the site.

3. Analytics and cookies

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and when a phone number is tapped. Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information about your device and your visit. You can block cookies in your browser settings or use Google's opt-out add-on.

We also use a cookie to remember that you have seen our cookie notice. Your browser may keep the city or location you searched for on your device, so the site can use it again.

4. Business owners who claim a listing

When you claim a listing, we collect your name, your email address, your role (owner or manager) and your confirmation that you are authorized to manage the listing.

To verify ownership, we send a one-time code by text message or voice call to the phone number already listed for the business, only when you ask for it. We never call or text a business without the owner's request, and we never call or text visitors.

We keep the changes you make to your listing: hours, services and the description.

Payments for the Owner-verified badge go through PayPal. PayPal tells us the payment went through; we never see your card details. We keep the PayPal order and payment numbers, the amount, the date and the listing it is for. We keep payment records for 24 months after the payment. We also keep a record that the listing is Owner-verified — the listing, the dates and our own payment reference, without PayPal's numbers — for as long as the badge is on the listing, and for 24 months after it ends.

5. Business listings

Listings show information about businesses: name, address, phone number, hours, services and, where available, a rating shown as text with attribution. It is compiled from public sources and, where an owner has claimed a listing, from that owner. It is not information we collect from visitors. Corrections and other questions about a listing can be sent to contact@wedevall.com.

6. Who processes the information

We use service providers to run the site and to verify owners and take payments: Vercel (hosting), MongoDB Atlas (database), Google (Google Analytics), PayPal (payments) and a text-message and voice-call provider that sends verification codes: Twilio (the Twilio Verify service). Email sent to us is forwarded by ImprovMX (email forwarding) to a Google (Gmail) mailbox. These providers may process information in the United States and in other countries.

7. How long we keep information

We keep the information you give us when you claim a listing for as long as your claim is active, and for 12 months after it ends.

8. Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the information you gave us when you claimed a listing by writing to contact@wedevall.com.

9. Children

Locksmiths Finder is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

10. Changes and contact
