All locksmiths are registered with the state of CT LCK 0000026 We can copy most keys, including automotive transponder "CHIP" Keys that the dealer told you are only available through them. We have over 5,000 key blank in stock. For the "do it yourself" people, we can re-key your locks for much less than having a locksmith go to your house. Any questions please call. Established in 1965. A Brief History of WT Bradley & Son Locksmiths. After returning from WWII service in the South Pacific, Bill Bradley, my father, in addition to his work as a cabinetmaker, started installing locks in the more affluent areas of CT. The demands of the Baby Boom continued for housing and with it, the demand for locks. By the late 1960s, Bill's love of locksmithing had blossomed into a full time endeavor and lifelong passion. In 1970, Bill opened his first lock-shop in Bridgeport CT In 1972, I (Jack Bradley) started working with him each day after school (a decision and partnership for which I will ever be thankful and appreciative). In 1975, I started full time work with my father and eventual business partner. WT Bradley & Son Locksmiths was officially "in business". 1977, the shop was relocated to Stratford where it was renamed. Approximately 1990, the on-the-road business focus was shifted to commercial & industrial work (while keeping the shop for retail sales and key copping)
